Play.com and Amazon UK have both been highly rated for e-commerce in the UK. Whilst B&Q, PC World and Curry's shared the lowest ranking.
A study by ForeSee Results featuring over 30 leading consumer brands, questioned over 7000 shoppers in the UK on satisfaction, usability, price and content.
Amazon UK and Play.com both scored 78, whilst B&Q, PC World and Curry's scored just 60. The results of the study have shown that brands focusing on variety, availability and selection will have the best return on investment.
ForeSee Results chief executive Larry Freed said.
"By focusing on improving key aspects of a website - areas which directly affect customer satisfaction, and therefore a company's bottom line, retailers can gain maximum results and enjoy repeat business for years to come," said Freed.
